Mr. Lee Ka Kit, a Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee for Economic Affairs of the National Committee, has been an Executive Director and Vice Chairman of the Company since 1993. He was educated in the United Kingdom and has been primarily responsible for the development of the business of Henderson Land Group in the People's Republic of China since 1985. Mr. Lee is the vice chairman of Henderson Development Limited. He is also the vice chairman of Henderson Land Development Company Limited, as well as a director of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited and Intime Department Store (Group) Company Limited, all of which are listed companies. He was appointed as a Justice of the Peace by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and awarded an Honorary University Fellowship by The University of Hong Kong in 2009 respectively. Mr. Lee is the son of Dr. Lee Shau Kee and the brother of Mr. Lee Ka Shing.
