Dr LEE Ka Kit - GBS, JP, DBA (Hon)
Dr Lee Ka Kit, a Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, has been an Executive Director and the Vice Chairman of the Company since 1993. He was educated in the United Kingdom and has been primarily responsible for the development of the business of Henderson Land Group in the People’s Republic of China since 1985. He is the vice chairman of Henderson Development Limited. He is also the chairman and managing director of Henderson Land Development Company Limited as well as the chairman of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited and Towngas Smart Energy Company Limited, all of which are listed companies. He is a member as well as the chairman of the Board of Directors of One Country Two Systems Research Institute. He was awarded an Honorary University Fellowship by The University of Hong Kong in 2009 and an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration by Edinburgh Napier University in 2014. He is the son of Dr Lee Shau Kee, the brother of Dr Lee Ka Shing and the brother-in-law of Mr Li Ning.
